About Mach'99

Technology today is the foremost index of international repute and power for any country. Henceforth, engineering institutes are one of the most pioneering institutions of every nation.

In the context of India, Delhi College of Engineering occupies a prominent position in the coterie of prestigious institutes of learning. Every year the institutes churn out professionals who are dominating major spheres of corporate community. This is a result of not just focussed and disciplined teaching, but entails a very degree of interaction with various engineering institutes and the industry. It is this interaction which has become imperative for students to give prosilient performance in this highly competitive world.

Keeping this objective in mind, the mechanical engineering department of Delhi College of Engineering is organising MACH ’99; a national student meet in mechanical engineering.

It is being organised under the auspices of DCE student branch of SAE international and DCE student chapters of ASME international and ASHRAE inc.

The SAE student branch and ASHRAE student chapter of DCE are the largest in the world.

MACH ’99 follows the huge success of previous similar meets since MACH ’96, which included participation from all major engineering institutes. The participation list of MACH ’99 would include students from over 300 engineering institutions.

Ideas will be presented, innovations will take shape, ingenuity will be exhibited and knowledge enhanced.

Each participating student will become a better engineer.
